my favorite japanese ebay sellers for designer vintage bags + how to find them
If you’ve ever gone down the rabbit hole of vintage designer handbags, you’ve probably come across Japanese eBay resellers. Japan has long been a goldmine for secondhand designer products, and if you’re looking for well-preserved vintage bags, shopping from Japanese sellers is one of the best ways to find pre-loved designer at a lower price than competitor resale platforms (TRR, Vestiaire Collective, Grailed, and so on).
As a disclaimer, Japan has some of the strictest counterfeit laws in the world, meaning sellers must be licensed and adhere to rigorous regulations. This makes it a more reliable market for pre-owned designer bags, with reduced risk of counterfeits.
With that in mind, here are my tips for scoring designer vintage on eBay, my favorite Japanese resellers, and a few current listings from my watchlist that are too good to pass up.
